Host-plant induced assortative mating in Enchenopa treehoppers
-
This study is part of Thibaut Malausa's PhD thesis which aimed at describing the genetic and ecological divergence of French Ostrinia populations. Our team's main interest is to study the mechanisms underlying host-shifts and speciation in the genus Ostrinia and their parasites. Our investigations use field and semi-controlled experiments (D. Bourguet, Y. Chaval, A. Dalecky, T. Malausa, S. Ponsard), population genetics (P. Audiot, D. Bourguet, A. Dalecky, T. Malausa, S. Ponsard, R. Streiff) and, more recently, population genomics (R. Streiff).
