The distribution, composition and status of the rain forests of southern Queensland
-
Vol. 1 (. ed. by. G. Werren. A.P. Kershaw. pp. Australian Government Publishing Service, Canberra. Don Butler, Bill McDonald and Paul Forster are botanists at the Queensland Herbarium based in Brisbane, Australia. Ronda Green has a long-standing interest in frugivory and runs an ecotourism business in southern Queensland's rain forests while maintaining an association with the School of Environment at Griffith University, Brisbane. David Lamb is a plant ecologist in the School of Integrative Biology at the University of Queensland, Brisbane. This paper presents some of Don's PhD research, which was supervised by David and Ronda and drew heavily upon extensive survey work and other knowledge of rain-forest plants gained by Bill and Paul.
