Typical experimental procedure: To a stirred solution of aniline derivative (1.20 mmol) and KF-Celite (1.25 mmol) in anhydrous acetonitrile (3.5 mL), the allyl halide (1.00 mmol) was added. Then, the mixture was continued for stirring at reflux up to completion of the reaction. The reaction mixture was filtered to remove catalyst and rinsed several times with dichloromethane, after the filtrate was evaporated under reduced pression. The product was purified, whenever necessary, by column chromatography on silica gel using various solvent systems as eluents.
