33. Cillo JE, Finn R. Hemodynamics in elderly coronary artery disease patients undergoing propofol sedation. J Oral Maxillofac Surg 2006; 64:1338-1342. Adds to the evidence that propofol does not adversely affect the haemodynamics when used in this way.
34. Cillo JE, Finn R. Hemodynamic stability in medically treated hypothyroid patients undergoing intravenous sedation. J Oral Maxillofac Surg 2007; 65:13-16. Again, adds to the evidence of haemodynamic stability when using propofol in medically compromised patients.
35. Niwa H, Tanimoto A, Sugimura M, et al. Cardiovascular effects of epinephrine under sedation with notrous oxide, propofol or midazolam. Med Oral Pathol Oral Radiol Endod 2006; 102:e1-e9. Fascinating study which shows propofol may be protective when patients are given epinephrine.
