    • An estimate of the o-MWCNT surface area based on the measured range of nanotube lengths (2-4 μm, diameters (10-15 nm, and previously reported nanotube density (1.65 g cm-3 20) was 150-240 m2 g -1 of o-MWCNTs. Assuming a TS-CuPc diameter of 1.8 nm Qiu, X, Wang, C, Yin, S, Zeng, Q, Xu, B, Bai, C. J. Phys. Chem. B 2000, 104, 3570, the TS-CuPc concentration required for one monolayer coverage was 0.1-0.15 mg g-1 of o-MWCNTs. XPS measurements were made on a sample prepared with 0.05 mg of TS-CuPc g-1 of o-MWCNTs corresponding to 30-50% coverage
