    • To determine the molar absorption coefficient (εT) of triplet S4-TdR, the relative actinometry method was applied as described in the literature (Carmichael, I, Hug, G. L. J. Phys. Chem. Ref. Data 1986, 15, 1, We chose benzophenone (BP) as an actinometer, where the absorption spectrum and the εT value of its triplet are well known. The εT value at 520 nm is described as follows, εTS4-TdR, ΔA 520nmS4-TdR ΦISCBP, ΔA520nmBP ΦISCS4-TdR, εTBP, where ΔA520nmS4-TdR and ΔA520nmBP are absorbances of the T-T absorption of S4-TdR and BP at t, 0, ΦISCS4-TdR and ΦISCBP are the quantum yields for intersystem crossing of S4-Td
