    • Regulation of myostatin expression and myoblast differentiation by FoxO and SMAD transcription factors
    • This paper indicates that FoxO1 is involved in positive regulation of myostatin expression, thus suggesting that induction of muscle atrophy by this transcription factor could inhibit muscle regeneration through the myostatin pathway, in addition to proteolysis induction.
