    • Aβ16 is the hydrophilic part (eight charges plus the three partially charged His) and the minimal Cu and Zn binding domain. Zn/Cu-Aβ16 is not very prone to aggregation and can be seen as a model for soluble Zn/Cu-Aβ. Aβ28 contains the metal-binding domain and has been shown to form fibrils similar to Aβ40/42.
