    • Statistical AFM counting of the folding signs of the deposited particles is not possible due to the microscale of the AFM technique. The sign of the enantiomeric excess was indirectly detected by CD spectroscopy.

    • [1d] on the J-aggregates obtained from the sodium salts show similar types of particles, but with different and nonconstant thickness (3 and 15 nm, with steps of 1.5 nm). This points to a bilayer structure for the J-aggregates obtained here and to a multilayered structure in the case of acidified solutions of the sodium salts, due to different ionic strengths and ion-pairing effects.
