Another justification for neglecting the weak localization is that the spin accumulation profile in Y. K. Kato, R. C. Myers, A. C. Gossard, and D. D. Awschalom (Ref.) showed no marked changes for measurements from 10 K up to 60 K, hence any weak localization effect should be minuscule.
