In diagnostic research long-term outcome is an interesting but relatively infrequently used outcome measure since the outcome may be influenced by the therapy instead of the diagnostic procedure.

Although the title of the paper is promising, the procedures were performed under general anesthesia, which diminishes the advantages of ultrasound-based therapy compared with operative hysteroscopy.
