    • Although we are unable to precisely determine if the extra charge of charged excitons is positive or negative, we believe that the latter attribution is correct, as the sample was grown on an n -type substrate. Relative energies of the S1 and S2 agree with theoretical values obtained for a neutral and a singly charged exciton in similar dots.
