31. A skyrmion is a topological spin texture with a radial variation in the spin direction from down at the center to up at large distances (2, 4).
32. 1 increasing with decreasing temperature was reported for a single-layer system around v = 1, which was claimed to be evidence for skyrmion crystallization (34). We did not observe such behavior in our samples, probably because of the lower mobility.
