Differential O-glycosylation of a conserved domain expressed in murine and human ZP3
-
This study of murine zona pellucida glycoproteins exemplifies state-of-the-art glycoproteomic analysis. The O-glycans at two conserved glycosylation sites have been characterised for murine ZP3 and for murine-expressed human ZP3 using on-line nano-LC-ES-MS/MS technology.

Diagnosis of congenital disorders of glycosylation type-I using protein chip technology
-
Most MS methods for diagnosing CDGs require extensive sample preparation. This study provides evidence that SELDI-TOF-MS, which is being used extensively to fingerprint proteins as potential disease markers, is applicable to CDG diagnosis.
