We note that the bias voltage can be led to the structure through outer N electrodes, tunnel coupled to the F layers in order to prevent depolarization of the ferromagnets. This would result in adding in series extra resistances which can be engineered so to make negligible the induced correction to both the TMR and the operating voltage.
