    • We calculated the spatial dependence of the induced order parameter and the superconducting density of states solving the Usadel equations in the presence of an exchange field [5]. As described in the text the oscillations occur in either the ballistic or the diffusion limit (W. Belzig et al., cond-mat/0010089). Note that a finite interface resistance reduces the proximity effect, lowering the order parameter amplitude and the superconducting density of states.

    • Spectra taken at T = 1.5 K in zero magnetic field show the same behavior. Furthermore, no effects of domain ordering (H < 1 kG) has been observed.
