    • The structure of 3 was published by Polamo recently. Crystals of 3 for X-ray analysis were synthesized from 2-chloropyridine and 2,6-diisopropylaniline hydrochloride at 180°C. This reaction seems to be easier to accomplish than our synthesis and less expensive since no palladium catalyst is needed. The yield was not reported. M. Polamo, M. Talja, A. J. Piironen, Z.
