The costs of the withdrawal (WD) diets (36 to 56 d) of the 3-phase schedule formulated to moderate and high nutrient density were $0.187 and $0.195/kg. respectively. Costs of the WD1 diets (36 to 47 d) formulated to moderate and high nutrient density were $0.192 and $0.199/kg, respectively; and WD2 diets (47 to 56 d) formulated to moderate and high nutrient density for the 4-phase schedule were $0.182 and $0.189/kg, respectively.
