    • In Australia, the minimum qualification requirement for professionals is an undergraduate Library and Information Management degree or similarly Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) accredited qualification. Two of the three respondents interviewed for this paper held professional level qualifications, with one of the two professionals holding Masters level qualifications in LIM. Each of these respondents was employed as professionals in the sample library, with the third holding certificate level Library technician qualifications and employed within the sample library as a Library technician.
