    • Predicting species spatial distributions using presence-only data: A case study of native New Zealand ferns
    • Jan Beck is interested in the patterns of biodiversity, biogeography and community ecology. His work is mainly focused on the macroecology, biodiversity and behaviour of Lepidoptera from the Indo-Australian tropics. Ian J. Kitching is a research entomologist at the Natural History Museum, London. His main research interests are the taxonomy, systematics and phylogeny of Sphingidae, their distribution, host plants and parasitoids. K. Eduard Linsenmair is Professor of Zoology at the University of Würzburg. He is interested in the behaviour, biodiversity and conservation of organisms in tropical ecosystems. Major research topics of his department are the general principles of functioning of ecosystems and the effects of human interference and activities on these systems. Editor: Bradford Hawkins
