    • The luminescent decay of the fullerene included complexes was biexponential, approximately 40% contribution to the decay came from a component which matched the free (unincluded) metallocyclodextrin. This 40% contribution does not reflect the free metallocyclodextrin content, as the intensity of this luminescence is nearly an order of magnitude higher than the fullerene complex, it gives an artificially high contribution to the decay. We estimate approximately 5% of the free metallocyclodextrin remains
