With this presentation at the Conference I concluded my tenure as US Editor of the JAP and I wish to thank the Journal audience and readership as I exit this stage. I owe a special debt of gratitude in particular to Jean Knox, Coline Covington and Barbara Wharton (all co-editors); Pramila Bennett for steadfast support and help throughout the many years and Yolande Cantu before her; JoAnn Culbert-Koehn, and Angela Connolly, deputy editors; to John Beebe, my predecessor, always ready and willing to lend support and insight; to the US editorial team present and past; the UK editorial team, our translation editors and of course the Society of Analytical Psychology for continuing in their wisdom and benevolence to fully support the editorial board, allowing editors full intellectual freedom, and last the person who made it all possible at the practical level, my wife, Linda.
