    • -4 bacteria/mL. The final β-peptoid concentrations ranged from 512 to 1 μg/mL. The assay plates were incubated at 37°C for 24 h in a bioscreen C microtiter plate reader. The optical density of the medium at 600 nm was recorded every 20 min to monitor cell growth. The lowest concentration of β-peptoid preventing bacterial growth at 24 h was defined as the MIC.
