    • The distance between the terminal sulfur atoms was calculated using HyperChem 6.0. It was assumed that the structure of the peptide is helical with dihedral angles: ωo = 180°, φ = -58°, ψ= -47°. In the case of dodecanedithiol, we assumed all-trans conformation of alkyl chains.
