21. A droplet of the micellar solution containing the nanocrystals is evaporated on a commercial 400 mesh/inch TEM grid covered with an amorphous carbon film about 3 nm thick. HRTEM images, obtained using a 200 kV Philips CM 200 FEG microscope, Cs = 1.35 mm, equipped with a field emission gun, are recorded after a stationary situation was reached in the TEM. The resolution, i.e., the information limit, was better than 0.18 nm. A typical optical magnification was 470 000 in the high-resolution mode.
