    • The assumptions for the calculation: (1) The thickness of the biocidal coating is equal to the end-to-end root-mean square distance of soft block (bond lenghts and angles, C-C, 0.154 nm, 109°; C-O, 0.143 nm, 110°). (2) The monolayer contains only soft segment (complete surface phase separation). (3) The density of the soft segment is equal to density of poly(propylene oxide) that has similar molecular weight. (4) Only 3/4 (30 mm) of the cover slide is coated.
