    • A Russel type bimolecular decay of the peroxo-radicals is expected to yield 2 and 3 in equal amounts (not shown in Scheme 2). The two-step overoxidation of 2 to 3 and 4 or parallel decomposition routes are responsible for different product distributions generally observed (Table 1).
