    • Direct measurements of the magnetic penetration length indicated normal conducting ≈0.4 nm thick layers at the film interfaces with the substrate and air and also ≈4 nm wide normal conducting areas along the strip edges. Together with the observed 15% non-homogeneity of the strip width this reduces the electrical cross-section of our meanders to ≈0.6 of the geometrical cross-section
