2 (1 mL) was added over 6 h by syringe pump. The solution, which was protected from light, was stirred for an additional 14 h at 23°C and then analyzed by GC. The total reaction time was 20 h at 23°C. Each experiment was at least reproduced once. A control reaction without the catalyst indicated that there is no formation of the cyclopropane derivatives under the conditions used.
