note
-
The Cambridge Structural Database (November 2004 release plus two updates) contains 347767 entries among which only ten organic (i.e. transition metal free) structures have been previously reported in this space group. Most of these structures are those of quaternary ammonium (DUYWID, DUYWID01, QUAFGEJ, UHALAQ), phosphonium (TIWDUY, TIWDUY01) and hexachlorotellurate (LOHPON) salts.

note
-
Even though an allylic C-H is a weak H-bond donor and the olefinic π-cloud a weak H-bond acceptor, the strength and particularly, the directionality of the C-H⋯π interactions described here stems from the cooperativity among the strong and weak hydrogen bonding domains.
