    • "The Report of the Panel on UN Peace Operations" (A/55/305 S/2000/809) is commonly referred to as the Brahimi report after its chairman, former Algerian Foreign Minister Lakhdar Brahimi. The report was published in August 2000 in response to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan's request that the panel thoroughly review the UN's "peace and security activities" and "present a clear set of specific, concrete and practical recommendations to assist the United Nations in conducting such activities better in the future."
