    • •• Monte Carlo simulation has been used for generating scattering functions of semi-flexible Kratky-Porod chains with and without excluded volume. The results were parameterized so that numerical fitting functions are available. These have many possible applications, which have also been demonstrated by numerous examples in the literature. In this paper, the expressions were successfully applied to literature data from polystyrene in a good solvent.
