34. This formula is derived only under the independent-particle assumption, i.e., only when particles are noninteracting. Generally, the Raman intensity is expressed in terms of a four-body correlation function. We expect, however, that qualitative features of results obtained with this formula remain valid as far as the system is not very close to the Mott insulating phase. At any rate, results obtained with this formula must be seen carefully.
35. 2g-spectra has no significance. The shape of the peak may also depend on the details of the coupling γ(κ) between light and electrons.
