This large sample of adolescents receiving treatment for substance addiction is unique in research regarding inhalant use and addiction. The important need to assess and address inhalant use and addiction in treatment settings is underscored by these data.

Drug Alcohol Depend 2004; 73:149-158. In spite of the negative findings, this study represents one of the few efforts to examine the impact of an intervention on inhalant use.
