    • In one case, no nondiabetic group was included; in another, a BMOV-nondiabetic group was included. As these screening tests have been repeated many times by our group, we can safely say that these additional groups are not germane to the screening process. BMOV served as a yardstick for comparison of glucose-lowering effectiveness.
