The importance of including higher Dirac moments in decay processes like (Formula presented)ππ was suggested to us by E. S. Swanson, based on quark-model studies of meson decays [see P. Geiger and E. S. Swanson, Phys. Rev. D 50, 6855 (1994)]. It has since been verified, in calculation of the decay (Formula presented)ππ using the model of Ref. 14, that discarding all but the term with the largest strength (proportional to (Formula presented) in the pion Bethe-Salpeter amplitude tends to increase the coupling constant (Formula presented) by 71% [see P. C. Tandy, in Proceedings of the IVth Workshop on Quantum Chromodynamics, Paris, 1998
