    • We protected our results on copper in 2001 (see ref.[16]). However, the legislation in Europe does not allow the results of a patent to be quickly published in the conventional literature without jeopardising it. The subsequent delay in publication is 18 months after the recording of the patent (with the technologic delay protection). The legislation is different in the United States, where the publication of results in the conventional literature is possible just after (or even before) they are recorded in patents.
