    • To ensure that unavoidable small fluctuations in EMG activity did not confound the result, we used a stratification procedure that eliminated trials deviating from the mean EMG activity such that changes in EMG activity relative to baseline did not exceed 2% (20). The described results were obtained with this stratification.
