    • A large amount of experimental data has been compiled by the University of Notre Dame Radiation Laboratory supported by the U.S. Department of Energy and in conjunction with the National Institute of Science and Technology: http://www.rcdc.nd.edu/compilations/Hydroxyl/ OH.htm. Also, the NIST databases are also available online for the gas phase (http://kinetics.nist.gov) and for the condensed phase (http://kinetics.nist.gov/solution). The absolute rate constant of reaction of HO radical with acetonitrile, in acetonitrile as a solvent, is considerably smaller than the corresponding value in water (see ref 11).
