    • 2 anion. In such a case the rate constant of activation may be twice as large as that reported in ref 14, and the amount of activator twice as small as the [Cu(I)] species originally used. Nevertheless, under such conditions the rate of activation and lifetimes remain the same. Reactivity of the anion is much lower than that of the cation which can be solely responsible for the activation process (cf. ref 8).
