    • Solutions were prepared under the same conditions and same concentrations as for the high-pressure stopped-flow and electro-chemistry measurements. After 2 d the precipitated green powder was filtered off, washed with diethyl ether, and dried for 3 h. The coordination of the TRIS buffer to Cu(II) can occur via the alcohol group.
