It should be mentioned that in (c) the authors revised their original theory by claiming that the ground-state effect is not important only for carbon and oxygen radicals. However, this revised theory is still not fully correct. For carbon and oxygen radicals, ground-state effect can still be very important. Therefore, we believe that the theory proposed in (b) should be completely discarded.
