    • Under the same conditions, we also used 6b in the addition of phenylacetylene to two aliphatic aldehydes: isobutylaldehyde and cyclohexanecarboxaldehyde. The enantioselectivities were determined by chiral HPLC on a Chiracel OD column and were found to be 81 and 70% ee, respectively.
