    • Differential expression of granulysin and perforin by NK cells in cancer patients and correlation of impaired granulysin expression with progression of cancer
    • Examination of granulysin and perforin expression in NK cells from cancer patients and healthy controls revealed that tumor-free cancer patients and healthy controls exhibited equally high levels of granulysin and perforin, although tumor-bearing cancer patients expressed remarkably lower levels of granulysin, but not perforin. They conclude that impaired expression of granulysin correlates with progression of cancer.
