    • We note that the density augmentation observed in simulations of neat 2-dimensional Lennard-Jones systems by Tucker and co-workers [M. Maddox, G. Goodyear, and S. Tucker, J. Phys. Chem. B 104 (2000) 6248-6257] are much larger than are found in 3-dimensional systems.
