    • Entropy (ΔS), as determined from eq 1, has units of cal/mol K. We report and discuss the entropic contribution to free energy (TΔS) in kcal/mol for comparison to ΔH and ΔG. Thus, a negative value for TΔS is considered an entropy loss (entropic disadvantage), while a positive value for TΔS is considered an entropy gain (entropic advantage).
