    • We use this relation with the (Formula presented) gap energy Δ taken from the low (Formula presented) transport experiment: A. Usher, R. J. Nicholas, J. J. Harris, and C. T. Foxon, Phys. Rev. B 41, 1129 (1990). The measured value of the transport gap at (Formula presented) allows for the effects of higher Landau-level mixing, disorder-induced overlap between spin-↑ and spin-↓ levels, and finite thickness of the QW. A possible contribution of charged spin texture excitations (which are not allowed in a single optical recombination process) to this measured value is neglected.
