    • Calculating the change in resistance due to the rotating magnetization in this model is complicated by the lateral inhomogeneity. For information current flow, van Hoff et al. [Phys. Rev. B 59, 138 (1999)] have calculated the domain wall resistance for Fe and Ni as a function of the layer-to-layer turn angle. For domain walls with turn angles as slow as 5° per layer, they find ΔG/G values comparable to typical ΔR/R values we measure.
