    • Whatman claims a pore size of 0.2 μm. Our observations of blank disks reveal that only one side displayed pores of 0.2 μm. The opposite side cleary displays pores of greater size (0.3-0,35 μm) but they are less numerous. Obviously a fusion of channels must take place during the anodization process, which is in fact revealed by the observed geometries of the polymer structures.
