19. This reaction was quantified to show that we were not dealing with trace products. The yield is based on starting tosylhydrazone and thus represents the overall yield of a series of four reactions: salt formation, diazo compound formation, carbene generation, and cycloaddition. Losses in isolation undoubtedly also occurred. The other cycloaddition reactions were not quantified, were compared to this one, and were not significantly different.
